How are you spending your time during the off-season?
I am currently back home in Canada. I haven´t seen my family or friends for almost a year due to Covid-19. I am spending some time with them. I am trying to stay active and starting to get back on the ice!
Slovakia is not an unknow for you, any special memory?
Last year was my first time I visited Europe. Slovakia is an incredibly beautiful country with a rich history. I think my coolest experience in Trenčín last year was learning a different language and culture. The Trenčín castle tour was a really special experience.
When did you first hear about the iClinic Bratislava Capitals?
I heard about the iClinic Bratislava Capitals last year! I was trying to play for them, when my contract in North America was put on hold. My good friend Ryan Culkin played here last year and really enjoyed it.
What is your knowledge about the ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE?
I´ve heard a lot of great things about the ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE. Great talent, exposure and professionalism. I had a couple of coaches in the EBEL and they highly recommended the ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE.
You chose to wear the number “40”, what´s behind the number?
I’ve worn the number 40 for most of my time in pro! I really like the number and some of the goalies like Tukka Rask wear it.
Which club you enjoyed the most playing for and why?
I really enjoyed playing for a couple of different teams. Maine Mariners were my first pro team and treated me exceptionally well. I love my time in Laval, it’s a first class organization. HK Dukla Trenčín was my first team in Europe. They have an incredible history and it was an awesome experience playing for them.
What are your ambitions for the next season?
My ambitions are to win the championship in the ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE! I’ve heard we have a great team and I want to do everything in my power to be a great teammate, leader and goalie!
Will someone join you in Bratislava?
My girlfriend will be coming during Christmas break, so it will be nice for her to experience Bratislava!
